4. QuickBooks and Intuit Data
Egger Business Hub may connect with QuickBooks Online and other Intuit services when an authorized user chooses to establish such a connection.
Through an authorized QuickBooks connection, Egger Business Hub may access information made available through the QuickBooks API, depending on the permissions granted and the features being used. This may include information such as customers, employees, vendors, accounts, transactions, invoices, payments, purchases, expenses, and other accounting or business records.
QuickBooks information is used only as reasonably necessary to provide requested Egger Business Hub functionality, including synchronization, business record management, job-cost tracking, employee or customer matching, expense tracking, and related business operations.
5. QuickBooks Authorization
Egger Business Hub does not access a QuickBooks company unless an authorized QuickBooks user grants access through Intuit's authorization process.
Authorization credentials and tokens may be securely stored as necessary to maintain the connection and communicate with the QuickBooks API. Users may disconnect the integration when they no longer want Egger Business Hub connected to their QuickBooks company.
6. Financial Information
Egger Business Hub may process financial and accounting information needed for business operations. This can include invoices, payments, expenses, purchases, job costs, balances, transaction records, and related accounting information.
Egger Business Hub is not intended to store payment-card numbers or online banking credentials unless such information is specifically required and handled through an authorized third-party payment or financial service.
7. Receipts and Uploaded Files
Users may upload receipts, photographs, documents, and other job-related files. These files may be stored and processed so they can be associated with jobs, expenses, customers, transactions, or other business records.
Receipt information may also be compared with imported transaction information to help identify possible matches and organize business expenses.
8. Employees and Workers
Egger Business Hub may maintain information about employees, workers, subcontractors, service providers, and independent partners. This may include contact information, work availability, service categories, specialties, employment or relationship status, job history, priority information, and assignments.
This information may be used to help identify appropriate people for available work and to manage business operations.
9. Customers
Customer information may include names, contact information, service requests, job locations, estimates, invoices, messages, photos, job history, payment status, and other information reasonably necessary to provide requested services.
10. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information.
Information may be shared when reasonably necessary to operate Egger Business Hub, provide requested services, complete authorized integrations, process payments, maintain infrastructure, comply with legal obligations, protect users, or prevent fraud or misuse.
Information may also be shared between customers, assigned workers, employees, partners, or administrators when necessary for a particular job or business relationship. Access should be limited to information reasonably necessary for that purpose.
11. Service Providers
Egger Business Hub may use third-party technology and service providers for functions such as hosting, databases, authentication, communications, payments, accounting integrations, and other infrastructure.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide the services used by Egger Business Hub and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
12. Data Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and should report suspected unauthorized access.
13. Data Retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Egger Business Hub, provide services, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal or regulatory obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
14. Access, Correction, and Deletion
Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with them, subject to applicable law and legitimate business record-retention requirements.
Certain financial, tax, contractual, employment, transaction, or other business records may need to be retained even after an account is closed.
15. Disconnecting QuickBooks
An authorized user may disconnect QuickBooks from Egger Business Hub. Disconnecting prevents future access through that authorization but may not automatically delete information that was previously imported and must be retained for legitimate business, accounting, security, or legal purposes.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Egger Business Hub develops or as legal, operational, or technical requirements change.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are made.
